The courses are based in a beautiful stone house, situated in a small hamlet, in the heart of the Vendée.  We spend most mornings taking pictures on location, but the computer tuition takes place in the house.  There's plenty of time to relax by the pool, or to sit by the fire with a glass of wine, depending on the  season.  At around 7.00 we gather for aperitifs  before sitting down to a four course gourmet dinner.(see Menu)
home availability details contact examples reviews price menu how to get here			The variety of landscape is inspiring - from the river Vendee, winding through the forest of Mervent, creating near Canadian landscapes, to the flat Marais Poitevin, intersected by innumerable canals,which is known as           "Venise  Verte"
	Owing to the size of the house, guests stay in a very pretty chambres d'hote, at the end of the lane, (see left)   or in nearby, carefully chosen accomodation. These are good Chambres d'Hotes, not hotels.		For more information on the Vendée, see Angela Bird's - www.the-Vendee.co.uk
